Brewed by Brouwerij der Trappisten van Westmalle in Westmalle, Antwerp, Belgium, Westmalle Trappist Tripel is a Belgian Tripel brewed in traditional Trappist style. First brewed in 1934, with the recipe unchanged since 1956, this iconic tripel is made with pale candy sugar and light pilsener malts to create its very pale colour and refined body. Hopped with Styrian Goldings, German varieties and classic Saaz, it delivers a bright, complex profile with elegant bitterness, lively carbonation and excellent ageing potential thanks to bottle conditioning with sugar and yeast.
