Dark Lagers / Dunkels

Dark lagers, including the traditional Bavarian Dunkel style, showcase the richer, malt-forward side of lager brewing. These beers are defined by smooth, clean fermentation combined with flavours of toasted bread, caramel, chocolate and gentle roasted malt, all balanced by restrained hop bitterness. Despite their darker colour and fuller flavour profile, dark lagers remain highly drinkable and refined.
