Straffe Hendrik is a bold and bitter Belgian tripel with a rich malt backbone balanced by warming alcohol and classic Belgian yeast character, offering notes of honey, light fruit and gentle spice with a pleasantly bitter finish. First created in 1981 for the inauguration of the statue of Sint-Arnoldus, the patron saint of brewers, the beer proved so popular it remained in production and is today known as the last authentic tripel brewed in Bruges.
