Brewed by Brouwerij St. Bernardus in Watou, West Flanders, Belgium, Abt 12 is a Belgian Quadrupel brewed in traditional style. Widely regarded as one of the brewery’s flagship beers, this classic quadrupel follows the original 1946 recipe and pours as a dark top-fermented ale with a robust ivory-coloured head. Brewed with the brewery’s own unique yeast, it offers a very fruity aroma and a rich, complex palate with layered malt depth and a long bittersweet finish, making it a superb match for rich meats, blue cheese and chocolate.
