Brewed by Brasserie d'Orval in Villers-devant-Orval, Luxembourg, Belgium, Orval is a Pale Ale - Belgian brewed in traditional Trappist style. This distinctive Belgian pale ale is the only commercial beer produced by Orval Brewery and is bottle conditioned for added complexity and development over time. Brewed with spring water, barley malt, hop cones, candy sugar and yeast, it is known for its firm bitterness, elegant dryness and remarkable aroma created through the use of hops at two stages of production, including dry hopping in the storage cellars. The result is a complex, aromatic and characterful Trappist beer with a uniquely refined profile.
