Brewed in Bamberg, Franconia by Schlenkerla (Heller-Bräu Trum), Aecht Schlenkerla Erle Schwarzbier is a dark smoked lager brewed with alderwood-smoked malt. Deep brown to near-black in colour with ruby highlights, it delivers subtle roast character layered with gentle, refined smoke rather than the heavier intensity of traditional beechwood Rauchbier. Light-bodied and highly drinkable at 4.2% ABV, it balances smooth malt depth with clean fermentation and restrained bitterness.
