Brewed by Brouwerij Bosteels in Buggenhout, East Flanders, Belgium, Tripel Karmeliet is a Belgian Tripel brewed in traditional style. Still brewed to an authentic beer recipe from 1679 originating in the former Carmelite monastery in Dendermonde, this classic Belgian tripel is made with three kinds of grain: wheat, oats and barley. The result is a refined and complex beer with a soft, creamy body, elegant spice, gentle fruit character and the depth that comes from in-bottle refermentation.
