Brewed by Private Landbrauerei Schönram in Schönram, Bavaria, Germany, Schönramer Gold is a 5.7% traditional Festmärzen with a rich golden colour and a full, rounded malt character. Aromas of grain, almond and honey lead into flavours of fresh bread and gentle malt sweetness, balanced by a fine, clean hop bitterness on the finish. Fuller and stronger than a typical Helles while remaining remarkably drinkable, it is a classic Bavarian festival lager with excellent balance between malt richness and hops.
