Aromas of dried berries, cranberry and cherry lead into a generous palate packed with ripe cherry and berry fruit, gentle spice and a characteristic hint of bitter almond. The wine undergoes the traditional Ripasso method, with a second fermentation on Amarone lees to add depth and structure, before spending a year in oak for a smooth, velvety finish.
