Brewed by Brasserie Lefebvre in Quenast, Belgium, Barbãr is an 8% Belgian honey beer inspired by the ancient tradition of brewing with honey. Deep blonde in colour with a creamy head, it combines pronounced honey aromas with floral, spicy and citrus notes. Soft wheat gives the beer a rounded texture without heaviness, while the honey ferments into the beer rather than leaving an overly sweet finish. A subtle acidity provides freshness, leading to a smooth, warming and finely balanced finish with very little bitterness.
